I'm convinced that one of my past lives was in some raucous American Wild West town in the 1850's (too many moments of deja vu to ignore!). And while I love my Old West explorations, they are many times cloaked in melancholy, as I'm acutely aware that such landmarks from the birth of our country will soon completely vanish.
